Message from Mayor Takashi Ikezawa
Building the Future Together!

Happy New Year to you all!
In accordance with our desire to make responsible choices for the next generation, this year also we will continue efforts to realize child-centered community development, create an environment in sync with our zero-carbon city declaration, and implement initiatives together with citizens to advance our wish for peace.
From fiscal 2024, we will promote the achievement of six fundamental goals toward the basic concept of a “Compassionate and comfortable Nishitokyo: Building the future together.” In particular, toward the future, we will aim to implement measures one by one so that young people actively participate in the development of Nishitokyo and tackle the solution of local problems together.
I look forward to your cooperation in our endeavor to bring about the further prosperity of our city. All the best in 2024!
